Ok, when I found out that Kiara is a cub in The Lion Guard I didn't like it. Don't get me wrong. I am trying to make myself get used to the idea that Kion is a cub, not to mention the same age as Kiara according to what Disney just said. Yes, he is the second born but maybe he was from the same litter (making kiara and kion twins). So yeah.. he was born after Kiara and as it turns out he is the same age as her (not a big fan of that either).
By the way yes he is the second born because -for the last time- there is no Kopa! :P
However! It makes scenes from the second movie not make any sense!...

An archetype is a model device commonly used in media, and there are quite a few of them present in The Lion King. Sometimes archetypes are used to allow the viewer to make a better connection with a character or narrative, sometimes they are used to symbolise something important, and sometimes they are used simply because it makes sense to do so. Here are just some of the archetypes used in the 1994 animated movie...

Reluctant Hero
This is, of course, Simba. The Reluctant Hero is a common archetype used in a lot of movies, and is normally the protagonist. Simba is the good guy and the rightful...

Let's start with the fact how Kopa was never and is not canon nor a movie character at all: link.

But some people think that the more believers Kopa has the more real he'll become. As in that if many enough believe in him as canon regardless of Disney saying he's not, Disney would make him into what those believers want him to be.

Well, Kopa believers: If I were you, I wouldn't hold my breath. And here's why.

The books and Kopa are outsider written and look what happened: Disney approved him for profit and childrens' entertainment in books known only in USA and did not even refer to him in the...

These are of course only my own, personal TOP10 reasons for loving it. :)

1. It's very unlike your standard Disney cartoon. It's dark and psychologically deep and complex story and doesn't sugar coat anything. Even the dead stay dead. Apart from Mufasa's ghost coming to guide Simba, but he was still dead! And unlike usually, the "resurrection" actually works for the story instead of being there to make kids happy. I mean, without the ghost scene the story would've been very different.

2. It bases on Shakespeare's 'Hamlet' mixed with a bit of the story of Moses from the Bible. That makes the story...

Kopa got up and shook his body to life. He bounced over to his mum, Nala, and pressed his paw up against her face in an attempt to awaken her. Her eyes fluttered open and she mumbled something under her breath.
"Mum, can I go out to play?" Kopa put on a cheesy grin,"Pu-leeaasee?"
"Your just like your father"
"So is that a yes?"
"Go ahead, but be careful, because if your anything like your father, I'm sure you'll get yourself into lots of mischief!"
Kopa bounded out of the cave opening and strait down into the grassy Savannah. As he was running through the grass he saw a big rock which reminded...

Opinion and language

We all saw when Simba and Nala rolled down the hill right? Well thats the thing. It looked as if Walt diseney puts secret things inside the movie but no one even notices.

Was Nala actually in heat? Well I think so because her eyes tell the whole story and sex is written all over simba. On Fan fiction they make simba more drunk and Nala is grumpy and shes the one I would Think I'm ok with. She's usually more entergetic tho.

its been a while since they had released the lion king in 3d or the movie itslef in genral so lets talk about making the lion king in new Anamtion they use today right here in 2014 a sequel to the Lion king 2 simba's pride would be nice right? yes it would but they would end up using the old anmation instead of the new becuase if they used the new anmation the movie simply would not look right on the count of that i would say they first should redo the movie one at time first the lion king 1 then 2 . we must understand that disney wil l not do so, the piture i provided should give you a understanding...

What to say about this one? Did we need it? Did we ask for it? Not really.

But I watched it finally and now I can say... it was OK. The visual effects here are phenomenal just like Favreau’s previous take at The Jungle Book. There’s also rare little moments of fresh storytelling that help differ this movie from the original, even if only about ten or twenty minutes worth.

I also had several problems. Like I said above, there are a few moments that differ but overall this is the exact same story from scene to scene just about. That includes many lines of dialogue taken straight from the superior...

After all this waiting I finally saw The Lion King 2019 remake last night and I have to say while it wasn't as amazing or breathtaking as the original, it was still a good remake. For this review I will focus on three things: The parts of this movie I loved, what I was neutral on, and what I hated.

Warning: Spoilers ahead!

Loved:

The opening was done shot for shot to bring back nostalgia for the fans and honestly I did not hate that. The opening chant was even exactly the same! Fans grew up with the opening from The Lion King, making memes, singing along, and even hearing the opening song just...

On a very rainy day in the Wildlands a little cub was born it's mum named it Zira.Zira loved her mum but one day she died, she got killed by another lion in a fight for the land.Zira was very unhappy about her mum's death,so she run away into the Pridelands and when she was running she slipped and fell into the water.
When she was calling for help a different lion heard her and came to save her.Once she asked the lion "What's your name" she asked
"My name is Scar" he replied "My real name is Taka" said the lion,"How did you get the name Scar" Zira asked him and he said "I have an older brother...

I mean no affiance to those who love the lion king 2. And please don't leave any nasty comments, thank you.

First off, the animation.
The animation in the lion king 2 is totally horrible. Simba is darker (And somewhere in the movie his eyes are actualy blue!) , Nala is to bright and her eyes are to blue, Timon is dark and Pumba is dark and looks disgusting. The only charicters that looked like they did in the first movie were Scar and Mufasa. The wildebeests in the nightmare scene looked like wolves! I actually think that that the animators took more time and work in drawing the new characters...

I think everyone who has seen "The Lion King" and "The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride" movies can agree that "The Lion Guard" doesn't do
a very good job with fitting in there. I have only seen all of "The Return of the Roar" and several clips from some other episodes. But that's enough to conclude that this TV show fails miserably as a Lion King series. I'm sure the majority of my fellow Millenials from this fanbase agree with me, but I know there are Lion King fans who nonetheless enjoy and love this new series. Fans who don't think it sucks. Good for you, guys, if you can find something to enjoy...

1. She does not listen to her parents when they tell her that the outlands are dangerous and that she should never go there, however she gets angry when her father doesn't trust her. How will he trust you if you keep being disobedient?

2. The fact that she knows nothing about self defence and sucks as a fighter (I assume) doesn't stop her from going to the outlands. (I'm talking about the teenager Kiara who "can" think logically). Why would you go to a dangerous place when you can't protect yourself in the first place? Pretty much everyone can outmatch her.

3. After the ambush, when Simba was...

So, here is my comparison on both the animated version and its live-action reboot. Ready?

The Story

While the majority of the story is the same, there are a couple of changes in the story, like we get to see more of Scar, Sarabi and Nala shortly after Simba was exiled and Mufasa's death. (Tied)

The Characters

One thing that I am very impressed is that both Nala and Sarabi have more character developments in this reboot. I am very happy for her independence and bravery throughout the entire film. (2019 Version)
Scar on the other hand, is very much like King Stefan from Maleficent despite that...

Princess Kairia, was engrossed as she listened to her grandfather the former king Simba, as he told her a story of one of the adventures he had with her grandmother when he was a cub.
"There Grandma and I were cornered by the hyenas they were moving in for the kill. I did the only thing I could think of, I roared at them." Kairia looked at her grandfather impressed and asked him
"Wow Grandpa did that scare them off?"
Simba laughed heartily at his granddaughter and said "No, Dear One I'm afraid it didn't."
Kairia asked confused "But Grandpa if it didn't work then how did you and Grandma get away?"...

I just stumbled over the seemingly popular interpretation that Mufasa's ghost was only in Simba's mind and that's why he didn't tell the truth about how he died. I was like 'Whaaaat?!' That never crossed my mind, in all these 15 years.

I guess it is kinda left up to the viewers interpretation in the film but Mufasa truly appearing to guide his son, fits the theme of the story much better than just Simba's imagination.

Rafiki had summoned him. You know Rafiki was able to do weird stuff, such as seeing that Simba is alive and where to find him, by doing something to the dust in the wind that had...

Kiara and Fluffy blend as one cub
Kiara and Fluffy blend as one cub
Many annoying comments from fans who believe Kopa is Fluffy which isn't true.

Here are 10 different comments from them from Youtube:

1. "that can't be Kiara, in these movies the males are yellow and the females are beige-colored, and that baby is yellow.?"

2. "that's there first child Kopa....he is a boy and Kiara's older brother?."

3. "ok at the end it is not Kiara it is Kopa before the making of the lion king 2 they changed it 2 Kiara instead of being it Kopa =3."

4. "?I am not a fan of lion king, but still kopa is true!"

5. "the cub is not Kiara. It's supposed to be Simba's and Nala's son,...

"Fluffy"
"Fluffy"
Fluffy is what the cub at the end of The Lion King is called. The name was jokingly given to the cub by the film makers during the production of The Lion King. It was never meant to be the cub's final name.

Appearance
Fluffy looks almost exactly like Simba did as an infant cub: yellow eyes, golden-brown fur, tan underbelly and a pink nose. The Major difference is that Fluffy has dark ear rings and Simba did not as an infant.

Girl or Boy?
Because the gender of the cub is never officially cited by it's creators, the question often arises whether the film makers intended Fluffy to be a boy or a girl...
